We Have a Seat for You
We want you to know that we have a seat for you at Immanuel, that together we would receive all that God provides and remember just how loving and gracious Jesus is to us and all people.
Plan Your Visit ...
We are located at 632 East Highway N. Wentzville, MO 63385
When you pull in to the parking lot, please find a parking space and enter through the main sanctuary doors under the portico. Greeters will be around to welcome you. Someone will also be at the Information Center Desk to answer any questions you may have. There is a small wooden table as you enter the church where you can find our weekly newsletter. After entering the sanctuary, please find a seat wherever you like.
We recommend arriving around 10 minutes prior to the beginning of service.
All our services aim to center our hearts and minds on Jesus.
In this way, we have an order of worship (known at the historical liturgy) which is simply a way of saying that we have a pattern that we follow for worship services which includes confession and forgiveness, responsive readings, scripture passages, confession of our faith through the creeds, a sermon, the Lord’s Prayer, the receiving of Holy Communion and final blessing. Organ hymns or piano-led praise songs tie things together as they unite us in thanks to God for all that He gives to us.
Worship services usually last between 55-70 minutes.
We also have snacks and coffee available most Sundays in the Fellowship Hall from 7:45-9:30am.
The important aspect of worship is that we are present with each other as a community who follows Jesus. We believe that our attire is secondary to why we gather together. At Immanuel you’ll see people wearing polo shirts, shorts and/or jeans, and others wearing dresses, or suits and ties.
We believe that families should be together in worship. In this way, we do not offer children’s church during worship services or dismiss children for the sermon. To do so, we believe, teaches children that worship services are only for adults.
Yet, we understand that adults and children both need their space for age-appropriate learning. In this, we offer Sunday School on Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30am for youth ages preschool to 8th grade. Opportunities exist for high school youth, as well, which at times involve attending Adult Bible Classes. We also provide a short Children’s Message at all Sunday morning services.
Further, Adult Bible Classes are held in the Fellowship Hall and the school cafeteria on Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30am unless otherwise noted.
We’d love to connect with you! If you have any questions at all, please speak to one of our pastors. You can also contact the church office via email or the blue box below titled “We’d like to hear from you!”.
